Silver Sycamore is a great location. I love all of their cabins and all the old antiques. We had so much fun with Jeremy and Jaye because we had tons of time to really use the location and make the most of the day. Really look over the formal pictures and you will see just how much fun we had.
I can’t believe the amazing weather and the beautiful days that we have been having. This is Houston, we are supposed to be dying from heat by this time of year.
This was definitely more than just a wedding, it was on heck of a party. I love when there is this much crazy in one place. It makes our job so easy because there is something going on everywhere you look.
Jeff and Crystal had a beautiful morning wedding. We dont’ do a lot of morning wedings but they are always nice because you have so much great light to work with. Beautiful location, beautiful light, beautiful people makes for beautiful pictures.
One of my favorites things about going to weddings is getting to see how other cultures celebrate. This was our first experience with a Ukrainian wedding, this was definitely one of the liveliest receptions I have ever witnessed. If you want to get a better idea of what I am talking about check out the dancing pictures towards the end of the reception.
Jeff and Natalie had a very special aspect to their wedding. They handed out ribbon pins for everyone to wear in memory of Natalie’s mother. The pins are meant to bring awareness to OMF, Ocular Melanoma Foundation. We would like to do something to help if we can. Starting June 15th we will donate 100% of any print proceeds that we get from this wedding or any other. I know that its not that much but hopefully ever little bit helps.
We had a lot of fun with the whole wedding party. The guys seemed bound and determined to do a couple of lifts that we haven’t ever seen before. Sometimes I feel like I am taking pictures of the disaster waiting to happen but everything turned out ok and we go some great pictures.
I guess I am a little old fashion but I love a full ball gown. Not as many brides wear them as they used too. I just think they have a cinderella quality to them.
It always makes our job so much easier when the couple are giddy every time they are around each other. It also helps when they can’t keep their hands off each other. Thanks for letting us be a part of your amazing day.
Last month we did a wedding for a beautiful bride named Natalie. Natalie married a great guy named Jeff, and they really make a great couple.
Natalie had a unique favor to hand out to her guests at her wedding. A small blue ribbon pin in memory of her mother. Unfortunately, her mother passed away just a couple of months before her wedding and Natalie wanted to bring awareness to the disease that took her mother away, Ocular Melanoma. I don’t know about you but I had never even heard about this form of cancer and it seemed that neither had most people.
So we wanted to do something to help bring a little more awareness as well as raise some money for OMF. {Ocular Melanoma Foundation} So until July 15, any print sales that we get from any wedding not just Natalie”s, we will be donating 100% of the proceeds to OMF. So if you have been meaning to order some prints but haven’t gotten around to it, now would be a great time to get your prints and help out a very worthy cause
I love going to new locations, so when Ashley said she wanted to go to her families house in the Brenham area we didn’t know what to expect but we were excited. I think you will agree that the pictures turned out amazing. I think the swing pictures are my favorite. I love all the great light and all the wide open spaces, it is all just so country.
What are the odds of having a double rainbow on your wedding day? Not even close to the odds of having a double rainbow and your wedding day and the day you got engaged. How cool is that?
