The goal of a bridal session is to capture the beauty of the bride in her gorgeous gown. Often the bridal session is seen as a "dry run" for the hair and make-up to ensure that on the wedding day everything is exactly as the bride anticipates.
We are often asked about flowers for the bridal session. Talk with your florist about a bouquet- sometimes they will offer a free bouquet in exchange for pictures- just let us know so we can accommodate.
After the session, the bride will usually choose one image to show at the reception in a large print. After the reception, the picture typically resides at mom's house:) The bride also may choose a picture to give the groom as a gift the morning of the wedding, or dad the day of the wedding.
With all of our bridal sessions, we do not limit the number of pictures we take, nor do we limit the location in anyway. If you want to take pictures at multiple locations, just let us know the locations. We love going to new locations.
Typically, we do bridal sessions the last few hours of daylight. You do not want to start too early because the sun will be too harsh. The first few hours or the last few hours are the best times of day for bridal portraits to be taken outside.
